By sadcox | Jun 13, 2007

MySpace is a social networking site that allows users to quickly and easily set up a homepage. Once the page is established, the user can change change the page’s colors, and add photos, videos, and music. In addition to that, MySpace does much more…almost too much.MySpace also allows users to add friends and display them on their homepage, keep a weblog (blog), post comments on their friends’ pages, start groups, etc. Huge networks of friends’ friends are quickly and easily established.

In the last few years, MySpace has quickly become one of the most popular sites on the internet, especially among youg people, and it is still growing. However, it is not without its critics. Concerns have been raised over the use of MySpace by minors because of the risks of sexual predators and bullying. While MySpace is a fun, cool tool for everyone to use, parents should be aware that these dangers exist.
